Introduction:

The Tubular Flocked Swab is an integrated sampling and storage tool optimized for clinical and laboratory testing, available in 75mm and 150mm lengths to meet different sampling depth requirements. Its core design combines a high-performance flocked brush head with a matching storage tube, creating a seamless workflow that minimizes sample handling and maximizes testing efficiency.

The flocked brush head paired with tube adapter is the product’s key advantage. The dense vertical fiber structure of the flocked head delivers strong sample adsorption and a release rate of over 90%, ensuring minimal sample loss. After sampling, the breakable swab handle allows users to easily detach the head into the tube, eliminating the need for sample transfer and reducing contamination risks. This design is fully compatible with automated nucleic acid extractors, streamlining batch testing processes for medical institutions and diagnostic labs.

Material compliance and broad storage compatibility further enhance its reliability. The swab uses medical-grade PP for the handle and tube, and the flocked head is free of PCR inhibitors, avoiding interference with downstream detection. The sealed tube design supports diverse storage conditions, including room-temperature short-term preservation and -80℃ long-term cryopreservation, as well as long-distance cold chain transportation. Individually sterilized packaging ensures biosafety, making it ideal for large-scale epidemiological surveys, routine disease screening, and research sample collection.
